Suggest Remedy For Mood Swings After Taking Depo Provera

Hi! Four weeks ago I received my first dose of Depo Provera from my local family planning clinic. Since then, I have experienced horrible mood swings and irrational bouts of insecurity. I called the clinic to see if there is anything I can do to offset this side effect and they told me there is not a lot they can do and it may improve after the second dose. I am currently taking a multi vitamin. I am 33 years old,weigh about 130 and am a non smoker. I consume about 3 cups of coffee a day. My question is, is there anything over the counter that I can take to offset these mood swings? I am just seeking a second opinion. I have always been a positive, upbeat person and these bouts are making me crazy and interferring with my relationships. Any advice would be appreciated.
