Suggest Remedy For Multiple Ulcers In Mouth With White Bumps On Tongue
HI, I have multiple ulcers in my mouth and a few white bumps on the sides and tip of my tongue. I am having problems eating spicy and bitter food. As a result of this, the gums near my wisdom tooth have swollen as well. I'm a 26- year old male. Coudl you please let me know what the solution to this is?
As per your query the white bumps and swollen gum near wisdom tooth are two different things .
First the white bumps on the tongue are probably lie bumps also known as Transient Lingual Papillitis . They are basically swollen papillae . They occur due to may reasons like stress , hormonal changes and irritation due to sharp point on tooth or and dental appliance . Usually they go away in few days without any treatment . I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses several times a day and apply orabase gel before eating anything to prevent discomfort .
Secondly the swollen gum near wisdom tooth is probably a pericoronal flap , which occur due to bite on gum due to impacted tooth . I would suggest you to do betadine rinses 2-3 times a day and consult oral surgeon . Doctor may remove the flap under local anesthesia or recommend extraction on wisdom tooth if impacted .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
