AFTER READING THE SIDE EFFECTS I FEEL THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN THE ZANAX. IHAVENOT EATEN SINCE YESTERDAY AND DO NOT FEEL HUNGRY,SO WHAT DO I DO NOW? I AM 79 YRS. OLD AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HEALTHY ONLY TAKE BLOOD PRESSURE AND CHLORESTROL (LIPITOR) MEDICATION. THANKS FOR YOURHELP
You are advised to take your medicines in the dosage, as suggested by your physician. Tramadol, itself can cause, stomach upsets as well as mood swings. Also, taking Tramadol and Xanax both together, may result in increased drowsiness.
I think, now you should wait at least for 24 hours before taking any drug further, till the after-effects of both these drugs are over. In the meantime, you should take enough fluids to maintain hydration. However, if you are feeling more restless, then it is always better to see your doctor before taking any further treatment at home. Subsequent treatment should be under guidance of your doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
