Suggest Remedy For Nose Bleeds, dizziness, lightheadedness And Nausea

I ve been having a lot of nosebleeds recently, almost everyday. Sometimes several times a day. I m a fourteen year old girl and my mum says it s normal in teenagers, especially since i m recovering from glandular fever at the moment. I ve also being feeling really dizzy and lightheaded a lot and having pains in my joins and stomach. I ve been really nauseous quite a lot too, but mostly just today. I m quite worried, should I see a doctor?

Hello,

You are suffering from nosebleeds, you are also recovering from glandular fever. You are also dizzy, light headed and have body ache and pain in the stomach. Nosebleeds commonly occur due to allergies, sinusitis, common cold, deviated nasal septum, nasal polyps, alcohol use, trauma to the nose, nose picking, etc. Take liquid or semi solid food like oats meal, porridge to help the stomach feel better.

You can also take antacids, PPIs to get relieve from stomach pain/discomfort. You are suggested to take boiled food over oily, spicy junk food. Stay adequately hydrated, take sips of water and fluid, soup or beverage throughout the day. You should not touch your nose, do not pick your nose. Stay at rest. Once your sodium-potassium balance gets restored, you will stop feeling dizziness.

Get clinically examined by a GP, as such symptoms may be due to anemia, poor general health condition, liver dysfunction, etc. Get blood works, CBC, liver function tests, imaging tests if required. You will be treated accordingly. Take acetaminophen, one SOS when required to get relieve from body ache. You can take anti emetic, one stat when needed. You should avoid stress, anxiety, and addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
