Suggest Remedy For Numbness In Arms

Hello, my mom and I recently went to the water park and stayed in the sun all day. Were both a little sunburn. My mom woke up this morning and her arms feel like there about to go numb. She said its very uncomfortable. Whats causing this? How can we stop it?
