Suggest Remedy For Numbness In Left Hand

I'm 62 yrs. old, 5'2", I believe I recieved some sort of insect bite about three months ago on my left upper leg about six inches above knee, no pain, just a itchy rash about half dollar size, also numbness in left hand ever since, could this numbness be related to insect bite on leg?
