Suggest Remedy For Numbness In Left Knee When Sitting Down

Hi when i play my guitar standing up i get numbness in my left knee i sit down & it will go away after 10 mins or so but i have been getting this numbness when i have been up and down ladders at work i am a window cleaner,but this don.t happen as much as the guitar playing can you help?
