Suggest Remedy For Numbness In Thumb And Fingertips

in the last 2 months i have lost 3 toe nails and now I have numbness in my thumb. The numbness is not new. In the past year I have experienced it several time and not just in my thumb. Mostly in my fingertips. Are these two things related? I was also in the ER 2 months ago for new onset HTN. I am fairly healthy so naturally I am concerned.
