Suggest Remedy For Numbness On The Foot

My left foot is cold and the skin on top of it is numb. Went to the chiro and got adjusted and seemed to help the pain in my back but not the numbness in my foot. The numbness is down the top of the foot and the ankle a bit. The foot doesn't feel asleep or anything just when I touch the skin on top of foot it feels numb. What could be causing this??
