Suggest Remedy For Pain And Bruising On Toes

I was about to step on to my metal step ladder when I hit the top of my foot with full force on the ladder. I managed to hit the bone and I felt intense pain for a minuets I couldn’t move my toes for a few seconds; I managed to graze my foot where I hit it. My foot has become bruised and sore, I can still walk on it and it still feels sore and stings when I go in the bathe. Do you think it’s possible I’ve cracked a bone?
