Suggest Remedy For Pain And Indention In Buttock

I have an 1.5 diameter indention in my right buttock/hip from a cortisone shot several months ago. I am now having a considerable amount of pain in my hip. Mobility isnt as well either. My husband was going to massage my hip for me and the sorest spot is the middle of the invention. The pain is what bothers me most at this point. Advice?

Ice application for 7-10 min 2-3 times in a day at the painful region will help to reduce pain.Don't go for any massage therapy.
