Suggest Remedy For Pain And Infection On The Back Of Neck

I have had staff infection about 4 or 5 times in the past 5 years. I am currently having same as the past but I cant see this time on the back of my neck. I had a friend look at it and said it is red and infected should I go to the doctor tomorrow or go to the emergency room now? Neck and back pain about 6 or 7. Darlene Black YYYY@YYYY

It would depend on the severity of the infection.

If it is extensive or painful then it may be best to be assessed as soon as possible so that treatment can be initiated.

If it does not involve a wide area, does not appear to be severe, then you can consider waiting to see your doctor in the morning.
