Suggest Remedy For Pain And Soreness In Ear

I accidentally jabbed myself in the ear with a tail comb a couple of days ago. I only have pain when burping/hiccuping etc although it feels a bit cotton wooly inside. I can still hear but it is as though I have a cold and it is a bit muffled. The pain is nowhere near what it was and am taking anti-inflammatory painkillers. Does this sound like it is on the mend?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.


In my opinion, you have pushed cerumen ( wax) inside the canal or injured the ear canal skin.

You needs to be evaluated with an ent surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Mean time avoid water per ear during bath and cold episodes.
