Suggest Remedy For Pain And Soreness In Knee

Hi my name is Oliver
I have noticed over the last few days a pain that is from behind my right patella on the medial ligament side, the pain is only obvious when i am playing football and bend and extend my knee, also i have extended my knee on a few occassions and felt a popping,/ ripping feeling, the ripping feeling also occurs when i play football what could it be, i have tried to strech the ligament but it ends up feeling worse.
