My mother underwent a 2nd small surgery on knee due to swollen knee problem due to accumulation of water/ puss.post the first surgery the surgeon tried many medications/antibiotics but the swollen knee problem persisted.2nd surgery was followed with histopathology and MRI which confirmed bone TB.AKT kit of Lupin was startedand was tolerated till 15 days.post she developed severe stomach problems, vomiting.whatevr she ate or drink use to come out. We took help of one well known doctor who speciallizes in TB treatment,however he administered all the antibiotics without Rifampicin.Is it appropriate?
