Suggest Remedy For Pain And Weakness In Back

i had a microdiscectomy for cauda equina 4 weeks ago and am wondering when i should be feeling normal again? i dont have pain exactly just aching and my back feels very weak when i walk like its only held tgether with an elastic band!!! or if ive been sitting for a while. .
