Suggest Remedy For Pain Caused Due To Lump On The Neck

Hi, I am 50 years old and having a lump on back of neck for past 3 years. It wasn t painful at that time. Doctor told it is fat deposit. But now I am having pain. Will take a week to get doctor s appointment. Could you please suggest me an antibiotic or pain killer for short term pain relief.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having sebaceous cyst since long and now became infected.
If cyst is there it might require excision of cyst.
But as it will take one week time to consult doctor, you might go for one course of antibiotic medicine like Amoxicilin 500 mg thrice a day.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen 6oo mg for pain as and when required.
