Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Ganglion Cyst Along The Tendon Below The Wrist

I have a ganglion Cyst about 2cm long by 2mm wide along my tendon below my wrist. It is causing quite some pain and discomfort, and I unable to work with out pain at the computer. Could it be that it is placing pressure on nerves or tendon and that what is causing the pain. In my case would removal be the best option going forward? Thanks in advance Edward

i have the ultrasound report. There is an elongated ovoid shaped hypoechoic structure, consistant with a ganglion, extending distally and toward the radial aspect of the carpus from the distal dorsal aspect of the scapholunate ligament . Normal appearances of the extensor compartment 1-6 tendons and sheaths with no evidence of tenosynovitis
