Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Suprapatellar Bursa With Synovial Thickening

Hello I am an ED Nurse & have been dx with an effusion in the suprapatellar bursa with synovial thickening.Onset of pain & swelling was over two days. There is no trauma history, but possible overuse from kneeling at wok (aka Triage & Treat in the WR!!).I am unable to get back into the sports medicine practice who ordered the U/S for over 6/52 & am at a total loss what to do.How long will I need off work & is there any treatment options ??
