Suggest Remedy For Pain In Both Legs In The Calves

My mother is 64, healthy and last week developed horrific pain in both of her legs in the back of the calf. She describes it as shin splint pain only worse. And she says the bottoms of her feet feel like she is walking on rocks. She had blood work done and it came back fine. She is now barely able to walk. She has no insurance, and does not want to go to the ER. It has been 10 days and I think she should go.
