Suggest Remedy For Pain In Feet,knee And Hip

I'm having a lot of pain in my feet, knees, and hips. The doctor said I have bone spurs and has me on tramadol 50mg 3 tablets 4 times a day and its not helping much for pain. I was wondering if jumping out of planes 30yrs ago in the army would cause this? what else could I use for pain?
