Suggest Remedy For Pain In Foot After Suffering From Fracture

I dropped a can on my foot. I went to the dr and no fracture. On follow up appointment all that s left of former massive bruise is subdural hematoma size of a pea on top of my foot. It only hurts when I wear certain shoes that isn t really resolving. (or at least not quickly enough to suit me, or for me to even notice at this point. I am about six weeks post injury.) My dr keeps saying go to physical therapy (which of course is in his office). I don t have $$ (or time) for PT as a single mom working FT with a high deductible. What will they do in PT that I could do for myself at home?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of injury then it could be a soft tissue inflammation there and it may take some time to come around care need to be taken for keeping the leg in elevated position, some time may need physiotherapy if it is taking much time in healing hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
