Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have arthritis in my right hip joint. I had a steriod injection back on December 23rd, which actually helped a lot until about 2 weeks ago. Before the 23rd injection, I could walk without much pain, and was not in continuous pain (sitting, sleeping). The pain was more noticeable after I would do about 45 minutes of Zumba activity. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed the catch/pinch in my right groin which has triggered continual pain now when I walk. I had a 2nd steriod injection on Wednesday, February 4th. It has not helped at all. I am in pain when I walk and now when I m sitting, the muscles in my hip throb and hurt. I m not sure what to do.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion better to stop taking steroid because this may not be good, you have to get done the blood glucose test, till then condition can be managed with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, you have not mentioned your age and gender without this nothing can be said for sure as long as treatment is concern, hope this information helps, take care.
