I have awful pain in tendon behind heel. It comes on suddenly without warning. It feels as if someone is stabbing me in that area. It can happen at any time- at night in bed, during, physical activity, driving, etc. My skin is also very itchy. The tendon pain and itchy skin began about 8 days ago. My insurance won t be effective until mid September. I am 41, female, average weight, and in good shape. I play tennis throughout the year except during the winter (I snow ski).
