Suggest Remedy For Pain In Hip

I am 60 years old and twisted my body when I tripped while running about five years ago. Now my hip hurts and Xrays show bone to bone and cyst. Anti inflamatories has helped, but the Dr. suggested hip replacement, I a not ready for that. Any suggestions
