Suggest Remedy For Pain In Jaw Post Root Canal Treatment

How long should the pain continue with an infection around a molar root which has already had root canal and crown?
pain in the jaw below the temple and down the side of the face.
On amoxil for 2.5 days but still taking advil and tylenol alternately to keep pain manageable.

The pain should start to decrease after a few days, normally it should be decreasing after 3 to 4 days.

If it is not resolving then you may need to be reviewed by your dentist. You may need an alternative antibiotic and other additional treatment.
