Suggest Remedy For Pain In Pelvic Area Post Exercising

I am a 38 year old female who started working out 4 days ago. I did an exercise where you lay flat on your back left both legs up, bend legs then stretch out without touching floor. I did 4 sets of 25. I couldn t left up my left leg its like dead weight to me.. an i have pain in my pelvic area. Cant lay down with my legs straight out nor can I stand straight. Very painful.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to hcm.
since its just been four days since you have started exercising hence the pain is due to sore muscles . Kindly apply local analgesc gels like diclofenac gel and take rest. Use a rubbery disc which cushions your knee.

Donot overdo exercising . Whenever you exercise, the intensity of exercises should be increased gradually over a period of time . Sudden stressful exercises can lead to soreness and muscle pull causing severe pain.
