Suggest Remedy For Pain In Shoulder And Swelling In Wrists

Hi, I am waiting for a steroid injection into my right shoulder as I started to have pain in my shoulder and arm 4 months ago .Despite physio this has not improved and the physio thinks the pain may be coming from my neck and my shoulder. My doctor gave me narproxen but this caused problems with my diverticular disease. In the last few weeks I am experiencing swelling to my right wrist although it is not painful or causing any problems. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you
