Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Ear Along With Neck And Jaw

My son got hit in the ear with a basketball and it started to bleed from the inside. It stopped as soon as he cleaned it off. Hours later he took a shower and it started again. He now says his ear is beating and is painful on the inside. Neck and jaw on same side hurt as well. His hearing seems fine as does his balance. Should he be seen? Thanks, Beth YYYY@YYYY

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi ,As per your clinical history it appears as your son having some trauma to ear causing bleeding.
Keep ear dry , donot allow water to go inside during bath. Use Ciplox D ear drop.
For neck & jaw pain use Paracetemol + Ibuprofen combination .
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope this information helpful to you, take care and have a nice day.
