Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Penis From A Tear Below The Tip

Hi, my 2 year old son started complaining that his penis hurt. Upon inspection, he has a tear below the head and slightly around the head of his penis. It what I believe to be the sulcus maybe? He s circumsized. What could be the issue and should I take him to the ER?

Welcome to health care magic,

The tear below head of penis might be due to balanitis or trauma to the glans or genital chancroid etc.

So, it must be examined by naked eye of an expert for which you can consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis first.

Treatment is mainly depend upon the underlying cause.

You can go for symptomatic treatment like antiseptic cream or ointment topical application over glans to prevent super-infection with vitamin b complex and folic acid orally to hasten the healing of pores or ulcer.

Cryotherapy usually is very effective, especially when it is combined with a topical medication such as podophyllin or imiquimod.

A dermatologist or general surgeon is preferred to consult.So better go to ER and get further treatment for your son.
