Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Shin Due To Hematoma

Can you see the one I already sent? Short version - hematoma to the left tibia during a softball game a week and 1/2 ago. X-ray says calcification without break. Pain increasing. Should I work through it or get some crutches or stay in the recliner? I do know I want this to heal well. Love the outdoors and can t lose that now... YYYY@YYYY

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Haematoma if it is small then nothing to worry. Applying ice pack will be helpful for this. You can apply 15 to 20 minutes on and off. This can be repeated 3 to 4 times daily. If pain is more trouble some then surgical evacuation will be helpful. NSAIDs like ibuprofen will be helpful in relieving pain and inflammation.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
