Hello doctor, I had SLE with more than complication (IPF,aortic atherosclerosis ,epilepsy,Rheumatoid Arthritis ...etc) but my big problem is pain all over my body ,the more painful is chest pain due to pericarditis and pulmonary fibrosis ,my life so difficult ,I leave my work((pediatrician ) I can t live with sever continued pain ,what drug can stop that pain?
Hi! Welcome to HCM! The main problem listed in your question is pain due to multisystemic involvement of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. The pain you are suffering will not relieved by simple analgesics like Acetaminophen, Brufen, etc. Since this is a visceral type of pain, so you need some stronger analgesics like Codeine or its derivatives like Hydrocodone, etc. Beside taking stronger analgesics a baseline ECG is also recommended. Since these are narcotic analgesics and not available over the counter, you have to see your GP for the medications.
I hope I tried to suggest the remedy for the chest pain. Wishing you a speedy recovery. REgards!
