Suggest Remedy For Painful Bump In Armpit With Pus

I have some sort of a bump in my armpit which oozes out clear liquid when I put pressure on it. It pains when I move my arm. It came OVERNIGHT. I was kind of sweating the night before as I hadn t taken a shower in two days I applied an ice pack on it, it got reduced. What should i do?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painful bump in armpit with pus. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like folliculitis infection or it could be a sign of improper hygiene, lymphadenitis or allergic reaction can also possible . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply warm compresses several times a day , apply over the counter antibiotics and anti inflammatory cream , take bendryl twice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory .
