Suggest Remedy For Painful Calf Muscles

I have a pain on my lower left calf but from the front - near the shin. If that makes any sense. It is stronger than a sore muscle. I have never had a blood clot or DVT but it feels strong like I imagine that would. I went running this morning - but do that regularly and it is not like any sore muscle pain I have had before. I am also feeling lethargic and a bit sick in the stomach?
