Suggest Remedy For Painful Constipation Post Pneumothorax Surgery
I have just had spontaneous pneumothorax surgery, and now am taking pain medication, oxycodone tablets and liquid form are the strongest, I also take regular paracetamol, I now suffer from painful constipation, I would like some advice on what would be the best remedy for this. Thanks
Hi, from history it seems that there might be having absolute constipation and producing hard fecolith giving this problem. Avoid taking oxycodone as it might cause constipation.. Insert Glycerine suppository to pass the stool. Take laxative like Crimaffin daily at night. Go for enema if required. Take plenty of water and more fiber containing food. Ok and take care.
