i have a 6 year old little boy. he spends half his time here with his father and i and the other half with his mother and her husband. we recently noticed that he had one pimple/ syst like spot in his groin area. he complained that it was very painful and we drained it. since then (about a week) he has gained about 5 more. any idea what they could be

It is a case of bacterial infection of the hair follicles which is very common skin disease.You need to give him oral and topical antibiotics along with hot fermentation of the areas.
