Suggest Remedy For Painful Discoloration On Toe Post An Injury

I have a stubbed toe ,
A piece of iron falled on the big toe , its not broken , but is so painfull in the nail area ,
At first the blood got jammed under the nail, i did pierce the nail with a sterlized needle to let the blood go out ,
But the toe is still painfull and now under the nail i have a green discoloration
What should i do , its so painfull

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain due to injury there seems to be inflammation of soft tissues leading to pain and swelling and bruising is due to ruptured blood vessels secondary to injury..
As now you have a greenish discolouration seen under the nail plate there is a possibility that you have infection in the area of injury..
I would suggest you to consult a general physician or a general surgeon and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and in case if there is infection he can advise you to take oral antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers as well as topical application of antibiotics and steroids..
As of now you can take painkiller like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen to relieve pain..
