Suggest Remedy For Painful Hips, Pelvis And Buttocks Post A Fall

I just fell about 30 minutes ago. I slipped and fell on wet concrete on my buttocks. I am having some pains intermitently shoot to pubic area. What do you think could be wrong? It also hurts across low back and hips, pelvis, and buttocks. Front lower pelvis region (abdomen) hurts. I do not have uterus or ovaries and more. I am 41 yrs old.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain is likely due to soft tissue injury to the buttocks and surrounding areas.

In some cases the pain may continue to increase and reach a maximum a few days after the injury.

Ice therapy, rest and pain medication should help. Pain medication such as ibuprofen, ketofen, naproxen, aspirin etc

If the pain is severe and there is a lot of difficulty with ambulation then you should be assessed to rule out a fracture.

I hope this helps
