Suggest Remedy For Painful Legs In Type 2 Diabetics

Thank you Doctor, I have type2 diabetes and have just recently started a job where I stand in one place for long periods of time, my feet are in excrutionting pain after standing still for an hour or so....... Is this normal or do I need to make arrangements for alternative work?
