Suggest Remedy For Painful Lump Around The Eyes Post Injury

I fell onto sidewalk 2 weeks ago causing bruising to both eyes, eyebrow cut and bruising to jaw and neck. Had xray, no fractures seen. Bruising now fading but I have a large lump below and above eyebrow about 3 inches in diameter which is sore and has not reduced. Should I see a doctor about this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having hematoma formation following injury on eyebrow.
Now due to cut on the site there might be having some bacterial infection producing soreness on the lump.
Go for one antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
If there is no healing of infection then you might require aspiration or excision of the lump for removing clotted blood or exudates.
Ok and take care.
