Suggest Remedy For Painful Lump On Thigh Post A Hit

I banged the side of my thigh a couple of weeks ago. Initially, it was badly brused, felt a lump under the skin and very painful. The lump is not as large as before, but hurts a lot as well as very hot to the touch. Had to stop doing my walking routine tonight as too painful by night. Help

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the lump post trauma seems to be due to inflammation at the site of injury as well as there is hematoma formation..
There is also swelling of soft tissues and accumulation of ruptured blood vessels and accumulation of inflammatory exudate and cells.

I would suggest you to do cool compresses over the swelling..
Take Ibuprofen to relieve pain and inflammation..
Apply heparin gel for faster disruption of hematoma..
Apply analgesic gel containing Diclofenac..
Elevate your leg while lying down..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
