Hi, I m desperately looking for a Pulmonary Doctor in my area of Southern Maryland, that may have appt open for a new patient. The 3 that I found here can not take Mom till Nov 18th. And the other two only have openings in Jan 2015 :-( Mom was traveling thru, stopped into visit and the next day August 13th, 2014 was rushed to Hospital for Emergency Surgery ( had an Aorta Dissection Aneurysm and 8 hours later was taken back to OR for a blood clot in her heart. Stayed in ICU for weeks, later transferred to another hospital that had an ICU unit and two +weeks discharged to me my home with home health care. Since the ICU she has been spitting up sputum tho says it s very painful when she feels the rush of sputum up toward her throat, been to an ENT Doctor who has cleared her and suggested she go to a GI doctor whom she had an appt with yesterday and this doc said he can not help her because needs to put her to sleep and she isn t allowed to be put under for any procedure for at least 6 months... I do have a back up plan, ( which is to call her surgeon and inform him that I am having no luck with seeking Specialist down here in Southern Maryland... I am currently 2+ hours away from DC Washington Hospital. Can you help??
