Suggest Remedy For Painful Swelling Of Index Fingers

Sir My wife is suffering from pain ( excess during night) and selling on her index finger . I t happens offent when ever she use detergents especially washing powders and soaps. for the same reason once our doctor prescribed HHderm cream and got cured.Now can I use the same cream , is there any side effects, please advice me.
