Suggest Remedy For Painful Yellow Spots In Throat

I have two yellow spots on the side of the back of my throat that are painful. I ve never had this before... I m guessing I should actually go to a doctor but need to know if it s likely to be contagious as I have a five week old baby. I have no fever or cough - started feeling uncomfortable about two days ago and just now checked for white spots and saw these two yellow ones. Worth going to the ER? Or should I wait?

Hi,

If you don't have any fever and cough then it is less likely that it is contagious. By your description it is difficult to identify, what I can suggest that you can wait for two three days and start Betadine gargles every 6 hrly and watch for the pain to subside. If pain doesn't goes off in two three days definitely go to doctor but ER won't be required.
