Suggest Remedy For Pain,swelling And Marble Sensation In Knee

I have what I thought was arthritis in my knee. Some swelling, feels like marbles all around outer knee when it's moved in various directions. Very painful. Have had x-ray and it showed arthritus on out side of knee. What is causing the marble sensation?
