Suggest Remedy For Periodical Drop In Blood Pressure

Hi there, Over the last 18 months, I have noticed that my blood pressure periodically drops. I have no indication when its low except a sense of dizziness and tiredness coupled with headaches. I am a 38 year old female of a one child. How can I treat this condition and avoid my pressure dipping?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is a condition called orthostatic hypotension where the blood pressure drops on standing.

There are different possible causes:(1) inadequate fluid intake- you may need to ensure that you are using enough fluids

(2)side effect of medication

(3)anemia

(4)heart disease

(5)related to hormonal conditions such as thyroid disease, low aldosterone, low potassium

You should consider an evaluation by your doctor to determine if there are changes in your blood pressure.
He or she would then want to determine the likely cause.

Treatment would depend on the cause found.

I hope this helps
