Suggest Remedy For Periods Problem

HI. My period was weird this month in that only 1 day seemed 'normal' in flow but stopped suddenly. 4 days before I was due on I started red bleeding but it was on and off and not as thich in consistency as it usually is. The 'normal day was 5 days after that. My breasts haven't gone back down to pre period size and are still very tender. I seem to have a lot of saliva and could sleep all day given the chance! I have however had a neg hpt so am really confused. I have 2 children and my breasts feel similar to when I was pregnant. Is it just wishful thinking or could I still be pregnant?
