Suggest Remedy For Persistent Aching In The Left Arm And Shoulder

I recently fell backwards on the ice. I used my arms to stop my fall. Now my upper left arm & shoulder are aching all the time. I do not have full range of motion in this arm either. I was playing with our puppy yesterday & over extended my left arm outward & felt a stabbing pain in my left arm/shoulder at that time. I am not sleeping well at night because I will roll over onto that side & the aching will wake me up. There is no redness or swelling - just the constant aching.

Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your history is concerned you should keep rest to the affected side with a wrapping cloth.so visit a doctor today and he will make it for you. Apply ice for 48 hours then heat in a messenger to improve blood circulation to the affected area. You can take any OTC painkillers. So you have to keep it at least 21 days after tell your doctor to check it again and if any problem then they will repair it surgical way.

You can also do one thing at home which will give you some pain relief, mix equal amounts of turmeric powder and limestone powder and add water to make a thick paste. Heat the paste and apply it to the affected area before going to bed. Wrap it with a bandage. Leave it on overnight. In the morning, remove the bandage. Do this for two or three days only.

Hope that helps
