Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your husband is hav hemoptysis (blood in sputum), spot and nodule in lungs and chronic pain backache. He is heavy smoker.
So possibility of lung cancer is more likely.
Lung cancer is known to spread in vertebra and cause chronic backache.
So taken him to pulmonologist and get done CT thorax and MRI brain to diagnose lung cancer and bone (vertebra) metastases.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
