Suggest Remedy For Persistent Blind Pimple On The Cheek

I have this blind pimple on my left cheek for about a month now. It s so huge and swollen that I can t get of the house without concealing it. I tried to apply a poultice of Ginger, garlic and onion on it but still it refuses to formed a head. I also tried the hot and cold compress but to no effect. I ve read that drawing salve works for blind pimples but I can t find one in my country. I m from the Philippines by the way. Is there any alternative for drawing salve? I really want to get rid of this blind pimple!!!! Help please.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have pimple on your cheek . Well there can be many reasons for pimple like stress , oily skin and hormonal changes . When sebaceous gland duct gets block and entrapped dead skin and bacteria iside , they cause infection and pus formation . I would suggeat you to wash your face with cold water and face wash containing benzoyl peroxide twice daily , apply cream containing azelaic acid and exfoliate your skin twice a wekk to remove dead skin , Also apply vitamin E oil at night . If condition doesn't get better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotic like Minocycline and steroid ointment .
